How to create Duplicate Workspace in AutoCAD ? 


Have you ever wanted to move some commands to another ribbon panel.
 And you can move some commands for another ribbon panel Or possibly add, remove or move tabs.  Well you can.
         You can create all your workspaces very easily. 

Before you start customizing your workspace, you duplicate the workspace instead ad of modifying an existing workspace. This will allow you.  


1. Open the Customize User Interface dialog box.

2. Duplicate the Drafting & Annotation workspace. 


  A.   Right click on Drafting & Annotation. 
  B.    Select Duplicate. 


 3. Rename the duplicate workspace. 

 A. To rename a new workspace, Right click on Copy of Drafting & Annotation 1.
 B. Select Rename. 


4. Enter the New Workspace name and press <enter >. 


5. Right Click on the New Workspace and select Set current. 

6. The New Workspace should now be displayed.

7. Select Apply and click on ok button.

1.  Type CUI and press <enter> .

(The User Interface dialog box opens.)

2.Select the newly created workspace.

3.  Expand the ribbon by clicking on [+]. 

4. Right Click on Tabs and Select New Tab.

6. Enter a name for the new tab and Press <enter>. 

7. Select the Apply and then OK


Note:
New tabs are not automatically added to the workspace.
You need to make the necessary settings in AutoCAD to display this new tab in your workspace.
